HHC or HHC-O, what is the difference?
The science involved in finding new compounds and extracts that can change the face of their use is quite fascinating and sometimes explosive.
And literally, because of the dangers of the extraction process. However, once professionals have dealt with the already fire hazards and other obstacles in the lab, things like HHC and HHC-O distillates become available to the public.
Let us tell you about two of these products, their effects and why they might be next in your basket.
What is HHC?
HHC is a new category of cannabinoids derived from cannabis. Although it acts like its cousin THC, it is a legal substance.
Chemist Roger Adams first discovered it in 1944; he added hydrogen molecules to THC Delta 9. This process is known as hydrogenation, and although it appears quite simple, in practice it is quite dangerous.
There are still many unknowns about hexahydrocannabinol. However, rumours and some experiments say that it gives a similar euphoric high as classic THC without affecting the body or being detected in drug tests.
What is HHC-O
Well, the similarity in the name, except for one letter, is basically the only difference, as they are essentially the same. The last letter represents the acetate added to the cannabis-derived hexahydrocannabinol, which makes the action of HHC in this version more pronounced than its predecessor.
The main differences between them
Origins
Both substances can be derived from cannabis, making them natural in origin and safe to use, unlike any synthetic cannabinoids.
Effects
Both have clear benefits for the body and mind, ranging from physical relaxation, identical to THC and anti-inflammatory properties, to bringing calm and helping to relieve anxiety.
Action
HHC-O is clearly stronger than HHC. It is even known as 'super HHC'. This compound matches classic THC in potency, so it should be used with caution if you are not used to its effects.
Which one is better?
In fact, these are two identical compounds, with subtle differences in potency. If you are faced with a choice, I would prefer HHC-O, because it has the closest effect to THC and, most importantly, has legal status in Poland.
